Do my old cards work?
In most gyms, yes. If your members already tap a card at the counter, Tresenly can usually use the same cards and the same reader. We test your cards for free before you start, so you know for sure. If they don't fit, we help you get new ones.
Can I move my data?
Yes, and we do it for you. We take your member list from the old software and bring it into Tresenly during the free setup. And if you ever want to leave, you can download all your data anytime. Your data stays yours.
What if the internet goes down?
Card check-in keeps running. Members tap in as usual, every tap is stored on the laptop and synced by itself as soon as the connection is back. Only the QR code needs internet.
How long does the switch take?
Usually just a few days, and we do most of it.
Who helps if something goes wrong?
I do, personally, by WhatsApp, phone or email.
What happens after the 30 days?
You decide. Nothing is charged without your consent.
Where is my data stored?
Your member data is stored in Frankfurt, in line with the GDPR. You get a data processing agreement (AVV) from us.
What is Tresenly?
Tresenly is software for gyms in Germany. Members check in with their card or their phone at the counter, and the screen shows right away whether the contract is valid. You also manage members and contracts and put drinks and shakes on the member tab. The name comes from Tresen, the German word for the counter where all of this happens.
What hardware do I need?
For the counter, a laptop or PC with internet and a card reader. Both are often already there. If your members only check in with the QR code, you need no card reader.
Can members also check in with their phone?
Yes. The device at the counter shows a QR code that the member scans with their own phone. The code changes every half minute, so a photo of it is of no use to anyone. Your team connects the phone once, after that the camera is all it takes. You decide whether your gym uses the card, the QR code or both.
Do I need to install anything?
No. You open Tresenly like a website, and improvements arrive by themselves.
Does each staff member cost extra?
No, your whole team is included in the price.
Do I still need a cash register?
For cash sales, yes. Drinks on the member tab run through Tresenly.
